On Jan. 29 BernCo Commissioners approved the issuance of $7.5 million in project revenue bonds for the Albuquerque Housing Authority to be used for The Commons at Martineztown in central Albuquerque.

On June 25, 2019, the County Commissioners approved the lease and operating agreements with the Albuquerque Indian Center for the Tiny Home Village.

As of June 29, 2020 Bernalillo County Housing Authority has officially moved to 2400 Wellesley Dr. NE. Suite 100, Albuquerque, NM 87107.

At this time our office is still closed to the public with our employees teleworking – if documentation needs to be turned in please send to our office via mail at the address above or fax 505-462-9713 (Make sure to include an attention line or contact name).

 If further assistance is needed, please contact your assigned case worker.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The Bernalillo County Housing Department will be closing the following waiting lists beginning April 1, 2020 until further notice:

  • Unit Project Based (UPB) and EC Elderly (located at 2210 Centro Familiar SW)
  • Seybold Village (located at 2204 Centro Familiar SW)

PLEASE NOTE: The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is a critical nationwide concern and the top priority of the Bernalillo County Housing Authority, to ensure that our staff, residents, program participants, landlords and partners are protected when working with us. Rachel (1907-1964) was a marine biologist when few women dared to even tread water. Her early childhood was spent exploring nature in western Pennsylvania. She wrote the book Silent Spring in 1962, which revealed the damaging use of the chemical compound DDT. It was banned in the United States in 1972. Ann Beyke has performed in local film, theater, television, radio plays and as a voice-over artist for over 25 years.
