Do you live in the unincorporated areas of Bernalillo County and have a residence that is in need of repair?

You may qualify for the Bernalillo County Housing Department (BCHD) Home Rehabilitation Program.

Applicants will be placed on a waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis; or you may also pick up an application in person at the Bernalillo County Housing Department, located at 1900 Bridge Blvd. SW.  

No incomplete applications will be accepted.

In order to participate in this program, applicants must provide copies of the following documentation when they submit their applications 

  • Proof of permanent residency (i.e. electric or gas bill) 
  • Property tax bill (in unincorporated Bernalillo County) 
  • Proof of ownership (Deed) 
  • Verification of family Income (check stubs, award letter, etc.) 
  • Current bank statement

Upon completion of application process, you application will be sent to the NM Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) for approval. 

After approval you will be contacted by BCHD and placed on a waiting list.

Rachel (1907-1964) was a marine biologist when few women dared to even tread water. Her early childhood was spent exploring nature in western Pennsylvania. She wrote the book Silent Spring in 1962, which revealed the damaging use of the chemical compound DDT. It was banned in the United States in 1972. Ann Beyke has performed in local film, theater, television, radio plays and as a voice-over artist for over 25 years.
