South Valley Pride Day Celebration Postponed Until Aug. 30

South Valley Pride Day has been postponed and will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30. The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has necessitated the changing of the date. The Aug. 30 date will still be dependent on the conditions later this summer regarding COVID-19 and the ability to have large gatherings.

“It’s my top priority to secure the health and safety of the South Valley community, especially during this public health crisis,” says District 2 County Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada. “To ensure we accomplish this, we have made the decision to postpone the event to a later date.”

South Valley Pride Day is an annual BernCo Commission District 2 community celebration that brings families and friends together with great food, fun for the kids and great local entertainment. In addition, the 2020 South Valley Pride Day outstanding citizens from the area will be honored.
