What is Narcan?

NARCAN® (naloxone HCl) Nasal Spray is the first and only FDA-approved nasal form of naloxone for the emergency treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose. NARCAN® Nasal Spray counteracts the life-threatening effects of an opioid overdose. Since most accidental overdoses occur in a home setting, it was developed for first responders, as well as family, friends, and caregivers—with no medical training required.

How to get Narcan:

Narcan is available at no-cost through the Bernalillo County Department of Behavioral Health Services. Visit our CARE campus facility, located at 5901 Zuni Rd SE Albuquerque, NM 87108.

Distributed 24/7/365. Must be 18 years of age or older. For more information, call 505-468-1555.
