Addiction Treatment Advisory Board

Goal: Seeks to unify its mission and methods of service delivery regarding medical components related to substance use disorder treatment and harm reduction services. The advisory body will be staffed with medical professionals and addiction specialists that would make policy recommendations to help align the county’s programming and methods used for service delivery related to addiction treatment and harm reduction services would establish consistency and ensure best practices for County administered programs and services. Standards of Care PDF>>

Meeting Information: Third Monday 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm – Monthly

Open Positions: Individuals who can staff these positions should be medical professionals and addiction specialists that would make policy recommendations to help align the county’s programming and methods used for service delivery related to addiction treatment and harm reduction services would establish consistency and ensure best practices for County administered programs and services.

  • At each outreach event, a short training on safe disposal methods, how to recognize where public injection occurs, and safety issues are reviewed with participants who volunteer to assist with needle pickup. Naloxone kits are also available during outreach and information on available syringe exchange services are provided to community members.
