Bernalillo County – County Clerk Linda Stover announces the last day to register to vote online, at the Clerk’s Office, and other traditional methods of voter registration.

“Tuesday, Oct. 8 is the last day you can register to vote or update your registration online,” says Clerk Stover. “The form on NMVote.org is the fastest and easiest way. Take a few minutes this weekend to check your registration, ensure it is correct, or register for the very first time! You’re also welcome to visit our office between now and close of business Tuesday and we’ll get you in and out in a jiffy.”

The link to register or update your voter registration is here. The Clerk’s Office is located at One Civic Plaza NW, 6th floor, in downtown Albuquerque and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Eligible residents may also register to vote or update registrations at the Secretary of State’s Office, at any County Clerk’s Office in New Mexico, through a Third Party Registrant Agent, at the Motor Vehicle Department, Human Services Department, public libraries, colleges, universities and at organized voter registration drives.

The regular local election will take place on Nov. 5, 2019 and in Bernalillo County includes candidates and ballot questions for the City of Albuquerque, Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Village of Tijeras, Albuquerque Public Schools (APS), Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA), Paradise Hills Special Zoning District, Ciudad, Edgewood and Valencia Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) and Ventana West Public Improvement District.

“This election is bigger than you think!” continues Clerk Stover. “Voters need to register or to update their registrations. This is our chance to have a say on candidates and issues relating to elections, schools, water and more.”

For all your election questions, call the Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office at 505-243-VOTE (8683), email clerk@bernco.gov and visit us on the web at Bernco.gov/clerk.
