Why is this measure important?

By facilitating meetings with Deputy County Managers/County Manager and their departments, the Operations Excellence Office (OEO) sets out to review and discuss departmental performance to determine if they are on target, improving, or needs focus. Departments discuss their actuals in comparison to the target for objectives and performance measures and explain issues, obstacles, and updates for each measure. These meetings are set up to ensure meaningful measurement of departmental objectives and performance measures.

Meetings included are: Strategy Session - discuss one or more performance measures, deep dive into data and graphs; Dashboard/Webpage Review - review dashboard/webpage for department feedback; DCM Performance Review - Annual performance check in with dept/DCM; Communications Session -meet with departments/division to review performance process and methodology.
