    To provide integrated risk management solutions to Bernalillo County departments in order to protect people and safeguard assets through services including risk awareness, risk financing, risk control, risk transfer, claims management, and compliance.

    • Host Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA-10) education program
    • Conduct safe work observations
    • Conduct safety supervisor training

    • Compliance department evaluations (fire life inspections)
    • Safety improvement plan
    • Accident investigations
    • Update county emergency response action plan

    OPERATIONS AND FINANCE

    • Oversees workers’ comp multi-line finances for county
    • Maintains and oversees driver maintenance in collaboration with Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) for county employees

    QUALITY ASSURANCE

    • Provide audit services for county departments
    • Provide Baldrige project management and technical assistance to the county

    RECORDS MANAGEMENT

    • Oversees county records storage/actively manages contract with vendors

    The Matrix is used during the Build Foundation and Developing Framework phases of the performance reporting process. While developing the Matrix the mission, services, projects, and performance measures are reviewed, updated, and/or established for the upcoming cycle. The Meeting Agenda and Industry Research are used during the Analyze & Review phase of the performance reporting process. The Meeting Agenda tracks questions and follow up items addressed during the DCM Performance Meetings, while the Industry Research is reviewed for industry trends and benchmarking opportunities.
