No Cost COVID-19 Testing Available at Expo New Mexico

The New Mexico Department of Health is conducting no cost coronavirus (COVID-19) testing for food service and other workers next week Monday through Saturday, at EXPO New Mexico.

Appointments are required online in advance. Testing begins at 8 a.m. Monday, June 22. Enter Expo New Mexico through Gate 3 at San Pedro and Copper Ave. Follow the signs.

To register for an appointment, workers must complete the following steps:

  1. Visit cvtestreg.nmhealth.org.
  2. Choose a language and click “register now.”
  3. Fill in all required fields on each page.
  4. Please enter an email address for confirmation.
  5. Select a day to be tested.
  6. When selecting location, choose “Albuquerque” then “EXPO New Mexico.”
  7. Save your confirmation code and bring it to the test.

Workers can be tested any day during the week, but the Department of Health is conducting targeted testing for specific groups each day:

  • Monday: Food service, business, hospitality and film workers
  • Tuesday: Children, Youth & Families Department workers
  • Wednesday: Utility, construction and industry workers
  • Thursday: Fire, EMS, law enforcement and healthcare workers
  • Friday: City and county workers
  • Saturday: Childcare, daycare and senior affairs workers

    • Outdoor Educator and artist, Matt Baker-White, will lead this in-person workshop sharing a variety of ways you can capture the landscape using pencil, pen, oil pastels and watercolors. Class size is limited to adhere to COVID-Safe practices and public health order guidelines. Class will be held outdoors with social distancing.
