Clerk to Absentee Voters: Return Application Now

Bernalillo County Clerk Linda Stover recorded a video PSA today urging voters wanting to vote absentee to complete and return the application now.

“That sound you hear in the distance, that’s the freight train that is the 2020 Presidential Election. 35 days,” says Clerk Linda Stover. “If you want to vote absentee but haven’t sent in the application yet, please do so now. If you didn’t receive an application by mail, go to NMVote.org to update your voter registration and request an absentee ballot. Please have a plan to vote and know that the quicker you can get things to us, the sooner we’re able to process it. Let’s work together Bernalillo County!”

Bernalillo County has already received over 126,490 applications for an absentee ballot. The Clerk’s Office will begin mailing absentee ballots on Oct. 6, 2020.
