What to Expect After Appealing Your Notice of Value

Did you appeal your Notice of Value by filing a protest form, and wondered what is the next step? This short video will help show you what you can expect from the Bernalillo County Assessor's Office. The deadline to protest real property assessed values for 2020 was May 29, and since then our appraisal staff have been very busy contacting property owners and working to resolve their protests. In accordance with public health, all valuation protest board hearings will be held remotely until further notice.
